Non-Destructive Testing, Inspection & Asset Integrity
Measure before deciding. Non-destructive testing, load tests and periodic verifications on structures, vessels, plants and in-service components.

What we do
IAT carries out non-destructive testing and diagnostics in the civil and industrial fields on in-service structures and plants, with specialised technicians, for scheduled, periodic and extraordinary verifications.
Results do not stay a test report: they are interpreted in terms of asset integrity to support decisions on maintenance, repair, replacement or life extension.
Services
Full list of activities, organised by group.

- Verification of electrical and earthing installations
- Verification of electromedical equipment
- Reliability diagnosis of in-service components
- Conformity verification of plants, parts and components
- Support for CIVA / INAIL platform obligations, where applicable
The problems we address
- 01
“I need to decide whether a slab, bridge or structure can take a new load.”
- 02
“I have welds, piping or vessels in service and want to know residual thickness and defects before they become a failure.”
- 03
“I want to plan maintenance on condition rather than fixed intervals.”
- 04
“I have mandatory periodic verifications on equipment and installations and want a single point of contact.”
How IAT works
- The test method is chosen according to material, expected defect and the decision to be taken.
- Test reports readable by decision-makers: result, criticality, recommendation.
- Integration with IAT engineering to move from data to action.
Regulatory framework
- UNI EN ISO 9712 (NDT personnel qualification) and applicable product standards
- Ministerial Decree 11 April 2011 — periodic verification of work equipment
- Presidential Decree 462/2001 — earthing system verification
- Ministerial Decree 17/01/2018 — Technical Standards for Construction (tests on existing structures)
